What does this community leader do?
Fr. Dave started "My Brother's Table to serve over 80 families in need every month in the community. He has volunteered as the clergy rep on the Wayland Housing Board. In 2019 he started the process to lease church land to build senior apartments. Town of Wayland is in full support of "Saint Ann Village" which will house folks 62 years and over. And Fr. Dave lead the protest at the High School decrying racism.
Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?
Fr. Dave has made the Town of Wayland and the surrounding area by making Good Shepherd Parish a welcome place for all people. No judgement zone, all are welcome.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?
The Saint Ann Village will be a great spot for senior to have an affordable apartment in Wayland.
