Wayland Police Seek Footage After Rash Of Car Break-Ins
Wayland police are asking residents to secure cars after the car prowls in a neighborhood near Route 20.

WAYLAND, MA — Wayland police are seeking tips from local residents following multiple car prowls early Wednesday morning in a neighborhood near the Route 27 and Route 20 intersection.
According to police, the break-ins happened along Winthrop Road and Trinity Place sometime between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Police are asking any local resident with security camera footage to contact the department in case the cameras captured any of the thefts.

The department is also asking residents to make sure to lock car doors before going to bed for the night.
"Our officers will continuously be checking all areas of the town, but as a reminder, we kindly ask our residents to lock and secure their vehicles, and do not leave anything of value in your vehicle," the department said in a bulletin Wednesday.
