Wayland Public Schools Foundation Launching Reading Challenge

The Wayland Public Schools Foundation launched a reading challenge for residents of all ages.

WAYLAND, MA - The Wayland Public Schools Foundation (WPSF) announced a new community-wide reading challenge for Wayland.

"This is an event not only for our schools, but we also have an adult category as well," said Blair Ramsey, the president of WPFS.

It's as straightforward as most reading challenges. Scan the list, read the book and check the list. But beyond just that, it's a way for the Wayland community to stay engaged and in discussion with one another.

The event runs from now through March 23, and on that last day WPFS will hold an in-person meeting at Wayland Middle School for residents to talk with authors, swap books, make crafts and more. There are prizes for each age group, and avid readers can sign up at the event's website linked here.

While there is no cost to register, any donations help the WPFS toward continuing to hold community-oriented events.
