WAYLAND, MA — The town will soon revisit an issue regarding its school buses.

The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on September 9 to ensure compliance with an extension it granted to school buses. The ZBA granted a five-year extension, until August 2027, for school buses to park in the rear parking lot at 41 Cochituate Rd.

The lot allows for up to 16 school buses on the property with conditions, including no fueling and physical barriers to prevent buses from encroaching on vegetated areas.
