Wayland Students Participate in Statewide Virtual Art Exhibit
Twenty-four student artists from Wayland Middle School and Wayland High School represent the district as part of Youth Art Month
March is Youth Art Month, and the Massachusetts Art Education Association (MAEA) is hosting a virtual exhibition of student artists from across the state. The middle school and high schools are represented by twenty-four artists, from grades 6 through 12, depicting a wide array of techniques, materials and subject matter. Special note: Ellie V. was selected as the grade 6 "President's Choice" recipient, which is awarded to one Massachusetts student in each grade. Her work will be featured in the Youth Art Month exhibit at the upcoming National Art Education Association national convention in Minneapolis, MN.
