Wayland Town Beach Opens For Daily Swimming
The town beach was in pre-season mode up until this weekend. You can now visit daily.
WAYLAND, MA — Just in time for a wicked heat wave, the Wayland Town Beach is now fully open.
The beach opened in late May in pre-season mode, with beach hours limited to weekends. On Saturday, the beach opened fully for the season, offering daily swimming from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The beach will remain open for the season until Aug. 4, when post-season mode begins. Hours will scale back to 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Aug. 11. Then a bonus beach week will keep swimming going, but residents will have to check daily for hours.
