WAYLAND, MA — MetroWest will get a visit from Dixie this month when a truck bearing Georgia-grown peaches rolls into Russell's Garden Center in Wayland.

The truck — literally called the Georgia Peach Truck — is on a northeast road trip this summer and will be stopping at several spots around Massachusetts during the week. Visitors can buy fresh peaches grown on Dickey Farms in Musella, Ga.

"Established in 2016 by Brandon Smith, a former musician, Georgia Peach Truck embarks on an annual Summer Road Trip along the East Coast," a news release said. "From the Keys of Florida to the Cape of Massachusetts, the truck offers whole boxes of genuine Georgia peaches from historic Dickey Farms at more than 100 locations."
