Larceny, Spray-Painted Cartoon: Wellesley Police Log
The following is from the Wellesley Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

September 10
8:28 a.m. - Officer Kane was dispatched to a business on Washington Street for a report of vandalism to the exterior of the building. The employee had been informed by an employee at a neighboring business that there was spray paint on the exterior of the building. The tagging was a cartoon figure and there are no suspects at this time.
2:38 p.m. - Officer Cunningham was dispatched to a business on Worcester Street for a report of fraud. The reporting party stated that he had been receiving online orders for the past month or so and after they are delivered the credit card payment is disputed and payment is declined from the credit card. He stated orders are being made by individual(s) on Barton Road who request the orders be delivered to the community room. He stated one such order had just been placed. Officer Keenan responded to Barton Road and observed a juvenile male party sitting outside of the community room and asked if he had placed an order from the business. The man stated he had and explained that he receives credit card numbers through a smartphone application and places orders for items. He does not know who the credit cards belong to. He indicated another juvenile party on Barton Road has done the same thing. Officers spoke with both individuals and their parents and one will be charged with larceny over $1,200 for charges totaling over $1,800 and the other juvenile will be charged with larceny under $1,200 for charges totaling over $300.

September 12
7:10 p.m. - Officer DeBernardi spoke with a man at the police station regarding fraud. The man stated that an unknown individual had gained access to a family email address and attempted to have over $50,000 transferred from one of their accounts to a bank in Casper Wyoming. They had spoken with their financial advisor who provided them with the bank information and advised them that the Casper Wyoming Police Department had been notified and requested that the reporting parties file a police report with their local police department so they could begin their investigation.

8:15 p.m. - Officer Dixon was dispatched to Barton Road to see if 28-year-old Syrus Hampton of Wellesley was at a residence there. The Malden Police requested that Wellesley Police attempt to locate him in relation to an incident that had occurred in their town earlier in the day. Officer Dixon took Hampton into custody, he was transported to the station and later transferred to the custody of the Malden Police Department.
