Wellesley Police Log: Street Party

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction. 

Street Party

At about 11 p.m., a Willow Street resident complained that there were a number of people gathering on the street, causing a disturbance. When Officer Derby arrived on scene, he reported seeing a number of emtpy beer cans and bottles scattered across the lawn, and the smell of alcohol hung in the air.

After speaking with the resident, he determined that a number of the people in the party were underaged. Police took 17-year-old Blake Ewanewski of of Willow Street into custody, and charged him with possessing alcohol while being under 21, and providing alcohol to kids under 21. A woman at the scene was also summonsed to court. 

Ewanewski was released on personal recognizance.
