All are invited to our annual outdoor Hanukkah Menorah lighting! This free event will run from 6-6.20pm. Hot drinks and donuts will be served. The Shir Joy Chorus will lead us in the music. We encourage all attending to bring some non-perishable food items to donate to the Westborough Food Pantry so we can help to restock their shelves during this holiday season.
Following the outdoor lighting, join us indoors for the world premiere of the Hanukkah Jazz Suite!
While jazz legends from Ella Fitzgerald to Frank Sinatra and Chet Baker have given the world timeless Christmas albums, Lisa Marcus Jazz is stepping into the spotlight with a much-needed Jewish offering: eight (of course) original jazz pieces that take us on a journey through Hanukkah with joy, meaning and a whole lotta swing!
Experience the world premiere of this new Hanukkah jazz suite, soon to be an album, which Lisa has been composing over the past three years. Crafted in the tradition of the American Songbook, this music offers a new type of soundtrack for our Hanukkah celebrations.
