WESTBOROUGH, MA — An oil truck overturned in front of a Westborough elementary school Thursday during snowy, icy weather. The crash happened around 11 a.m. along Eli Whitney Street in front of Fales Elementary School, leading to a hazardous materials spill. The driver was trapped in the truck after it overturned, the fire department reported. The truck driver came away from the rollover with minor injuries, but declined treatment at a hospital. The department also contained the spill.Eli Whitney Street was closed Thursday afternoon while firefighters worked to right the truck and tow it from the scene.
