Hear 'Summer Stories' at the Westborough Public Library on Tuesday

1. Hear stories.

The Westborough Public Library hosts "Summer Stories" for ages three to five, at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the library's children's room.

3. Congratulations, Cameron Pelkey.

Pelkey, of Westborough, placed first in the male 12-and-under age bracket at Sunday's 30th annual Amidon Family Dentistry York Days 5K in York, Maine, according to Seacoastonline.com. Pelkey's time was 22:31.

4. Coming soon: a 'spelling bee'.

The Westborough Players' Club performs "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at 8 p.m. Aug. 9 and Aug. 10, and 2 p.m. Aug. 10 and Aug. 11, at The Willows at Westborough, 1 Lyman St.

5. Fill in the blanks.

On its Facebook page Monday night, Julio's Liquors wrote, "The perfect summer barbeque has _____ on the grill and ______ in the cooler."
