It's Friday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your day a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Congregation B'nai Shalom is having a picnic.
The congregational picnic is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Hopkinton State Park, and will include a nature walk with Rabbi Rachel Gurevitz at 10:30, according to the congregation's website.
2. Old Nourse Farm is feeling "blue."
"We have TONS of blueberries right now. We'll be doing pick your own everyday this week so come on out!" according to the farm's Facebook page.
3. The first day of school is nearly one month away.
The first day of school in Westborough is Aug. 28, which is one month from this Sunday.
4. Get ready to welcome a new Westborough clergy member.
In case you missed it, New Hope Chapel has named the Rev. Steven Ristuccia as its new permanent pastor.
5. Now approaching 600.
