Join the Westborough Country Club

1. Join the Westborough Country Club.

Club PGA Golf Professional Jack Negoshian tells Westborough Patch that "starting Sept. 15, anyone wanting to join the country club for the 2014 golf season can pay their 2014 membership in full and also be a member for the remainder of the 2013 golf season."

"The 2014 membership rates remain the same."

2. Volunteer for a town board.

The following boards have vacancies, according to selectmen:

*300th Anniversary Committee: nine members
*Advisory Finance Committee: one member
*Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee: one member
*Charter Review Committee: three members
*Conservation Commission: one non-voting associate member
*Council on Aging: two members
*Historical Commission: one member, two non-voting associate members
*Housing Partnership Committee: one member
*Open Space Preservation Committee: two members
*School Committee: one member
*Youth Commission: one member

3. Volunteer at the Westborough Senior Center.

Volunteers are needed for Meals on Wheels, grocery shopping/errands, medical transportation, senior center programs and newsletter distribution. Fill out a volunteer application at the senior center.
