Monday Essentials: Snow Bowl Plans September Opening
Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Westborough.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Westborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. 'Snow' arrives in September.
Snow Bowl, Westborough's newest frozen yogurt shop, will open at Bay State Commons in September, according to new signs there.
The shop will be located between Panera Bread and GNC.
2. Cre8 a Do It Yourself Studio welcomes the public this weekend.
The new shop at 76 Otis St., at Route 9, will hold its grand opening from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, according to its Facebook page.
There will be giveaways, demonstrations and specials.
3. It's not the heat, it's the humidity.
According to AccuWeather, Westborough's high temperature since June 1 is 93 degrees, on July 19.
It's felt a lot warmer, hasn't it?
4. He bends spoons with his mind.
Mind reader Rory Raven performs at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Westborough Public Library.
"Rory Raven is neither a psychic nor a magician. He will bend your spoon and keep you talking about it for the rest of the summer," according to the library's website.
5. Meet two authors.
The Tatnuck Bookseller hosts two authors this weekend.
On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, Quincy S. Abbott discusses "From Schoolboy to Soldier: The Correspondence and Journals of Edward Stanley Abbot, 1853 - 1863."
On Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m., Marion Winik discusses "High's in the Low Fifties."
