WESTFORD, MA - Ellen Rainville was inducted into the Massachusetts Library Association Hall of Fame because of her lasting impact on libraries and librarianship across Massachusetts.
As director of the J.V. Fletcher Library for more than 30 years, Rainville expanded the role of the library by ensuring that the library always provided the highest quality of customer service.

The library has won 33 awards and recognition, as well as 23 MLA PR awards under her leadership.
Throughout her career, Rainville has served as president of the MLA for three years president of the Northeast Massachusetts Regional Library System.

She is currently assisting in a series of workshops that the Massachusetts Library System is conducting in which experienced library directors give advice and tips to their younger counterparts.
