Powerball Jackpot Hits $1.25 Billion; Big Winner Sold In Westford

There was no jackpot winner in Monday night's drawing, but a ticket sold in Westford made at least one player considerably richer.

WESTFORD, MA — A Powerball ticket sold at a Westford store scored a $50,000 prize, according to Mass Lottery.

The lucky ticket was sold at Nab's One Stop Shop at 60 Brookside Road.

Another $50,000 winner was sold in Massachusetts in Greenfield at the Stop & Shop.

The numbers for Monday's drawing were 23-35-59-63-68 and Powerball 2. There were $1 million winners in Arizona and California.

It could be a lucky Christmas for Powerball players: the game's jackpot has swelled to $1.25 billion.

The next drawing will be Wednesday at 10:59 p.m.

The odds of landing that grand prize are, let's say, slim, at 1 in 292,201,338.
