Arsenic Found at Field School Does Not Pose Risk
After a more detailed study, Weston school officials say the arsenic found in a soil sample at the Field School does not pose a risk to children.

Last week, a was found to have "elevated" levels of arsenic, but school officials are now saying, after further study, that the levels do not constitute a risk to children.
In a letter on the schools' website, Superintendent Cheryl Maloney said further evaluation by the Department of Environmental Protection and LaGoy Risk Analysis Inc. revealed "the levels do not pose risks that exceed target risk levels, assuming exposure for 5 years."
The schools will continue to test for arsenic, as well as pesticides, said Maloney.
