The Golden Ball Tavern Museum is open for our annual Holiday Extravaganza - "Trimming the Tavern "Here's to the Red, White and Blue". From December 8th to December 13th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and Family Friendly - visit the beautifully decorated rooms created with the theme of the 250th anniversary of the Revolution...by a team of community partners. DON"T MISS THIS! Our museum offers visitors a different perspective on the American Revolution. Our museum, housed in a historic Pre-Revolutionary home and tavern in Weston, Massachusetts, tells the other side of the story – that of the Loyalists during the War of Independence. Notably, the Museum is among only a handful of institutions in the country dedicated to bringing to life the Loyalist experience. We also tell the story of six generations of the same family living in the same house for almost 200 years! Join us to learn more about colonial life and beyond. Our last open house history tours of the museum for 2025 will be on Thursday, December 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and family friendly! The Rivers Youth Orchestra Program Concert - November 18, 2012 The Rivers Youth Orchestra program will present a concert on Sunday, November 18, at 5:30 p.m. at Regis College's  Fine Arts Center in Weston.  All four youth orchestras will perform in the concert:  Preparatory Orchestra, conducted by Whitney Tandon; Youth Sinfornia, conducted by Susan Memoli; Philharmonia, conducted by Colleen MacDonald; and the Youth Symphony, conducted by Christopher Memoli.  Nearly 200 students will perform pieces ranging from Baroque works by Vivaldi, to Romantic favorites by Rimsky-Korsakov and Sibelius.  Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door prior to the concert.  There will be a reception following the performance. <a href="http://www.riversschoolconservatory.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.riversschoolconservatory.org</a>
