WESTON, MA β€” Without community leaders, Weston wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

What does this community leader do?

President of local land trust, plus trustee of local media organization, ubiquitous conservation volunteer, community organizer etc

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

He motivates others to get involved and care about the lack of a local newspaper, about the trails and open spaces of our town, and he also Red Hens...if someone else doesn't do it, he will including mowing field trails, chainsawing up fallen trees, etc.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Without his leadership, Weston Forest & Trail, the local land trust, would have struggled when one of the past leaders passed away but instead thrives and cares for 2000 acres of Conservation land and 100 miles of trails.
