Kindergarten Registration Takes Place Today

You might be focused on finishing out this school year, but its time to turn your attention to next fall if you have an incoming kindergartner in the family.

Weston Public Schools will hold kindergarten registration for the 2013-14 school year on Thursday, April 4, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Case House.

Parents of children who reside in Weston and will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2013, are eligible for kindergarten in the 2013-14 school year.

To register, parents should bring health and immunization records, their child’s original birth certificate and a copy of their child’s birth certificate to Case House, at their appointed time on April 4.

The appointment will not include classroom visits, but will be devoted to registration only. Parents and their children will be notified of their school assignements in May and will be invited to visit their assigned schools on May 22.
