A lightning strike knocked down a tree and damaged the electrical system of a Weston home.
The strike knocked over a pine tree across the driveway at 153 Wellesley St. at 2:52 a.m., said Weston Fire Chief David Soar.
The lightning followed an electrical line into the home and blew two fuses, Soar said. NSTAR came out and turned off power to the home.
