• Adaptive winter sports offered at Mass state parks (localheadlinenews.com) — Adaptive cross-country skiing will again be offered this winter at the Leo J. Martin Ski Track in Weston, with snowmaking, equipment, and instruction tailored for people with disabilities and their families. The state’s Universal Access Program is running free or low-cost adaptive skating, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and sled hockey at 15 parks through March, but advance registration is required online or by phone.
