Should These Board, Committee Members Be Re-appointed?
The town is asking for feedback on the current configurations of the boards and committees in Weston.

WESTON, MA—Come June, several board members and committee members are up for re-appointment. Before that happens, the Board of Selectmen are looking for feedback on appointment policies and questions and feedback on the charge, procedures and activities of these government bodies.
Selectmen are also soliciting any informal expressions of interest residents may have in serving on these boards or committees now or in the near future.

Following are the boards and committees for which at least one position comes up for reappointment in June:
- Affordable Housing Trust
- Agricultural Commission
- Board of the Council on Aging
- Board of Registrar of Voters
- Cable Advisory Committee
- Conservation Commission
- Community Preservation Committee - Parkland Representative
- Crescent Street Historic District Commission
- Historical Commission
- Trustees of the Merriam Fund
- MBTA Advisory Board
- Metro West Regional Transit Authority Advisory Board Representative
- Permanent Building Committee (appointed jointly with the School Committee - term in Oct.)
- Recreation Master Plan Steering Committee (appointed jointly with the School Committee)
- Traffic & Sidewalk Committee
- Tree Advisory Group
- Weston Cultural Council (varying term expirations)
- Zoning Board of Appeals
