Weston Bridge Closing Begins Monday

Starting on Monday, motorists should begin seeking alternate routes around the Merriam Street bridge.

The bridge will temporarily close beginning Monday for repairs. Traffic on the south side of Merriam Street will be rerouted to Conant Road via North Avenue. Traffic going north will be sent to Conant Road via Boston Post Road.

The bridge, located at the Silver Hill Commuter Rail stop, will remain closed until Sept. 30. However, the rail stop remain open and be accessible from the North Avenue side of Merriam Street.
