5 Things: Citywide Open Space Plan Meeting Tonight at Roche Center

The annual Friends of the West Roxbury Library Book Sale continues through June 7 during regular library hours, and June 8 until noon.

 

  1. Tonight at 6:30 p.m. there is a community meeting for the purpose of discussing how Boston is preparing a new citywide Open Space Plan for the years 2015 to 2021. As part of this effort, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department has developed a questionnaire to enable the public to provide valuable input about their park use and preferences. Roche Family Community Center.
  2. The annual Friends of the West Roxbury Library Book Sale continues through June 7 during regular library hours, and June 8 until noon.
  3. The 31st annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl starts today through June 6.
  4. Are you older than 60 and a homeowner in Boston? Then you may qualify for the Senior Citizen’s Property Tax Work-Off Program. This program provides limited tax relief to qualified Boston homeowners. For an application or more information please call Greg Josselyn at 617-635-4250. Deadline for applications is July 1, 2013.
