5 Things July 11: Free Kids Books from ReadBoston at West Roxbury Library

- State legislation expected to be included in the state's fiscal year 2014 budget includes $500,000 to renovation and update the West Roxbury YMCA.
- The ReadBoston Storymobile will be making multiple stops per week at four West Roxbury locations this summer to read to children, give out free books and more! The first day was on Wednesday (July 10) at 10 a.m. at the Roche Family Community Center, and at 11:15 a.m. at Billings Field, and 12:30 p.m. at the Ohrenberger Community Center. - Volunteers are needed for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Boston Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, Sept. 29, beginning at Canal Park at the CambridgeSide Galleria in Cambridge. Money raised by Walk to End Alzheimer’s helps to provide care and support for individuals and families touched by Alzheimer’s and to fund Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
