5 Things July 2: Chess Club & Dinosaur Story Time at the West Roxbury Library
Check out a list of where you can see fireworks around Massachusetts.

- Today and Wednesday children from toddlers to Grade 8 can register for the Summer Reading Program at the West Roxbury Library. Pick up reading packet and register for special events. 10 a.m. 1961 Centre St.
- On Wednesday, enjoy Dinosaur Story Time with dinosaur stories and make paper bag dinosaur puppets at the West Roxbury Library. For ages 4-8. Free. 10:30-11:30 a.m.
- Also Wednesday at the library - Chessmaster Charlie moderates the Ted D'Amato Chess Club, occurring on Monday and Wednesday afternoons in the summer. 2:30-5:30 p.m. This is for chess players of all levels, come and learn the game or come and practice. This program is funded by the Friends of the West Roxbury Branch Library.
- Due to the July 4th holiday trash and recycling normally collected on Thursday or Friday will be delayed one day.
