5 Things: Stories in Art Session at Library; and PRC Run Postponed
There will be a Football and Cheerleading Activity Week sponsored by The Link:Boston and Parkway Pop Warner from July 8 to 12.

- POSTPONED - Due to a forecast of high winds and rain, tonight's Parkway Running Club Highland Hash Fun Run is postponed. No future run date was immediately announced.
- Today there will be a Stories in Art session at the West Roxbury Library for kids 6- to 12-years-old. There are interesting stories behind every work of art. Take a closer look, hear some of these stories and create your own. Space Limited. Register now. Program given by Museum of Fine Arts instructor. 617-325-3147. 3:30-4:30 p.m.
- Registration for the Boston Parkway Club Travel Baseball team for children 7- to 12-years-old is ongoing until June 21. Boston Parkway Club will have five teams. For more info please contact Dennis O'Connor at bostonparkwayclub@gmail.com, or call 617-469-0563 or visit www.leaguelineup.com/bpc.
- Space is still available for any 11- and 12-year-old who would like to play in Cooperstown with the Boston Parkway Club. Please contact Dennis O'Connor at denjohnjr@aol.com if you are interested. The trip is August 9-16, 2013.
- There will be a Football and Cheerleading Activity Week sponsored by The Link:Boston and Parkway Pop Warner from July 8 to 12. 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Billings Field. $50 per participant. Non-contact for ages 7- to 15-years-old. Football participants will be learning skills, doing drills, and playing games; Calisthenics, individual and team skills including offense, defense and special teams. Cheerleading participants will be learning cheer drill and skills, and routines. Sign up through the Parkway Pop Warner website or call 617-763-9650.
