Block Party with All-Female Queen Tribute Band in West Roxbury on Saturday
The Bellevue Hill Improvement Association is hosting its first membership drive and neighborhood party on Saturday.

This isn't your father or mother's Bellevue Hill Improvement Assocation block party. On Saturday, the 1st Annual BHIA Membership Drive and Neighborhood Party is going to be headlined by a live performance by the only all-female Queen tribute band - Gunpowder Gelatine! It's also a potluck!
Starting at 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., Robin Street from Bellevue Street to Wren Street will be blocked off to traffic. Neighbors are welcome to come, meet more neighbors, listen to some music, and join the Association with a mere $5 per year.

The party is also a potluck, so please bring a dish to share, or beverages you may want for you and your family. Bringing a chair for sitting is another suggestion.
"We are hoping to make this party a tradition so come out and play!" wrote Ginny Gass of the BHIA, in an email.
