Bloody Victim: "He Stabbed Me" in West Roxbury

The following article is based on a Boston Police report, and where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A West Roxbury man was arrested for allegedly stabbing two people at a Willers Street home.

On June 27 around 2:41 p.m., Marco Richard Rose, of 31 Willers St., West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to a Boston Police report.

Police responded to the scene for a report of a stabbing, and upon arrival a Boston Police officer saw a motor vehicle approaching. Halting the vehicle, one of the victims exited the vehicle holding a white t-shirt on the right side of his face, which was covered in blood, according to a police report.

The victim pointed to the suspect standing in the front yard of 31 Willers St., and allegedly said, "He stabbed me."

The suspect was holding a silver-colored knife in his hand, and was issued numerous verbal commands to drop the weapon, and eventually did so. The suspect refused to obey several verbal commands to lay on the ground, and only did so after two other officers arrived on the scene.

While trying to get the suspect to obey commands, the second victim, a female, exited the home. She was bleeding from her mouth, and had blood on her shirt. She said the suspect had allegedly punched her in the face, according to a police report.

Police learned the suspect is the half-brother of the male victim, and the three lived together in the home with other relatives.

According to the victims, the suspect had been acting weird, and accused the female victim of being "after him", which she denied, and an argument ensued. The suspect then allegedly stabbed both victims, while the male victim tried to protect the female victim.

Police also spoke with a witness who said he/she observed the entire attack in the backyard, and moved into the household to avoid injury. A second witness told police he/she saw the suspect standing in the front yard holding a knife in his hand, after one of the victims had approached the witness asking for help, according to a Boston Police report.
