Daily 5: Victims of Ponzi Scheme Please Call SEC; and Little League Tourney
West Roxbury is hosting the State Little League Tournament at the Guy Cammarata Complex on Baker Street this weekend.

- Victims of Steve Palladino and Viking Financial Group's alleged Ponzi scheme are being urged to contact the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission after a Massachusetts District Court recently found the two defendants liable for violations of the securities law. Individuals who invested with Viking or Palladino since April 2011 and believe they may have been a victim of this fraudulent scheme should contact Deena Bernstein at 617-573-8813 or bernsteind@sec.gov on or before Fri., Aug. 2, 2013.
- The Corey Street Farmer’s Market is on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Temple Hillel B’nai Torah's parking lot at 120 Corey St. It is open to everyone. The Corey Street Market is a collaboration between Temple HBT, Theodore Parker Unitarian Universalist Church, West Roxbury Main Streets and Silverbrook Farm in Dartmouth, MA.
- West Roxbury is hosting the State Little League Tournament at the Guy Cammarata Complex on Baker Street this week. From July 25-28, at the home of Parkway Little League, the top four teams in the state will compete for the title of state champion. The winner moves onto regional competition in Bristol, Conn., with the winner advancing to the Little League World Series.
