Friends of the West Roxbury Library to Kick Off 40th Anniv. With Annual Meeting Next Week

A Pulitzer Prize-winning author will speak at the event.

The Friends of the West Roxbury Branch Library will hold their annual meeting on Oct. 24, at which the group will also hold a kickoff celebration for its 40th anniversary.

Pulitzer Prize winner Megan Marshall, author of “Margaret Fuller: A New American Life” will speak at the event, which will also include a book signing, refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.

The meeting will be held on Friday. Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. at the library, located at 1961 Centre St. in West Roxbury.
