Monday afternoon calls for southwest winds 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 to 30 mph. Winds will become mostly gusty between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday afternoon. The relative humidity, temps in the high 70s and low 80s, and wind gusts could result in critical fire weather conditions.

A fire weather watch means critical fire weather conditions may occur. Residents should listen for later forecasts and watch for possible red flag warnings. According to the National Weather Service any fires that start may spread rapidly and become difficult to extinguish.
