The plans to build a kosher hotel and restaurant in Boston’s West Roxbury neighborhood have been scrapped.

Nissim Shimon Trabelsi, a local developer, was pushing to bring a King David Hotel to 1650 VFW Parkway, the former site of McDonald’s. The property was instead sold to a Brockton business owner Thursday for $1.4 billion, Universal Hub reports.
