On October 13, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino joined Chestnut Hill Realty to cut the ribbon on its new apartment complex Ridgecrest Green. Ridgecrest Green located at 5120 Washington Street, is 48 rental units being added to the bottom of Edgemere Road. The project was originally planned to be much larger but the community had concerns about density, parking, and more, according to a city press release.  Many of the 48 units are already rented. A two-bedroom apartment at the complex is listed for rent at $1650-$1780, according to the <a href="http://www.chr-apartments.com/ridgecrest-village-apartments" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Chestnut Hill Realty website</a>. You also get access to a swimming pool, fitness center, laundry, air-conditioning and more.
