BOSTON, October 1, 2021—One man has been arrested and a second individual is expected to be arraigned at a later date in connection with hit-and-run crashes that left two children injured.

TYRESE TREY HAMILTON, 30, of Hartford, Conn., was arraigned today in the West Roxbury Division of Boston Municipal Court on a charge of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash causing personal injury in connection with a crash that injured a child outside the Boston Police Academy earlier this morning. Assistant District Attorney Emerson Pena requested bail of $5,000. Instead, a judge imposed $1,500 bail and ordered Mr. Hamilton not to drive without a license.
