West Roxbury's 2015 Halloween Sex Offender Safety List

Before the kids go out trick-or-treating on Halloween, it’s a good time to take inventory of who is living in your neighborhood.

West Roxbury has four Level 3 sex offenders who either live or work in town, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board.

The Level 3 sex offender designation is reserved for the most severe offenders. Level 3 sex offenders pose a ‘high risk’ to reoffend, according to the state. They are not wanted by police, and it is illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.

James Dirosa, 28, works at 2040 Centre Street. Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child and rape and abuse of a child in 2007.

Daniel MacKinnon, 38, 64 Perham St. in West Roxbury. He was convicted on three counts of rape in 1997.

Joseph Stivaletta, 56, lives and works at 4965 Washington Street. Convicted of assault of a child with intent to rape, indecent assault and battery on a child and rape and abuse of a child in 1991.

George Vasil, 41, lives on 5016 Washington St. 1 in West Roxbury. He was convicted on two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in 2009.
