74-Year-Old Westwood Man Indicted on Solicitation to Murder Charges

Joseph Eosco was previously arrested in a murder-for-hire plot.

A Westwood man who previously plead not guilty that he hired a hitman to kill a former business associate was indicted on April 7 for two counts of solicitation to murder.

Joseph Eosco, 74, was also indicted for one count of carrying a firearm without a license and 15 counts of possession of a firearm without an FID card.

In February Eosco was involved in a “substantial financial dispute” with the other man, the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office said.

State Police working with the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office arrested Eosco on Feb. 27. One of the state troopers had been working undercover posing as a potential hitman, said the DA’s office.

Police also found a 32-caliber pistol in the man’s car that he was not licensed to possess.

Joseph Eosco’s Norfolk Superior Court arraignment is set for Monday, April 27 at 2 p.m.
