UPDATE: Delays Persist After Commuter Train Evacuation

An unattended bag on a commuter train prompted an investigation, the MBTA said.

WESTWOOD, MA — An unattended bag left on a commuter train at the Route 128 station prompted an evacuation and police investigation, the Mass. Bay Transit Authority's commuter rail account said Friday afternoon on Twitter.

NECN reports the "all clear" has been given by transit police. However, multiple trains have been moderately or severely delayed, and some schedules have changed.
