Neponset Valley Humane Society Hosts Annual Craft Fair
Event Helps Cats with Medical Visits, Supports the Feline Rescue Program and Assists Fosters

The Neponset Valley Humane Society (NVHS) will host its annual Fall Craft Fair on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 572 Nichols Street, Norwood. The fair brings together more than 30 local artisans and vendors and serves as a key fundraiser to support the nonprofit’s animal rescue and adoption programs.
Visitors to the fair will find a wide variety of handmade goods, including jewelry, home décor, wooden gifts, candles, ceramics, crocheted items, seasonal decorations, and specialty products for pets. A raffle with donated prizes will also be held, and refreshments, including pizza, will be available for purchase. Admission is free and open to the public.
“The craft fair is a celebration of creativity and community,” said Cathy Tainter, the Society’s President. “It’s inspiring to see local artisans and animal lovers come together each year to support our mission. The generosity of our community truly makes a difference for the cats in our care.”

According to Tainter, the annual event is a lifeline for the cats who depend on NVHS. “Every handmade item purchased helps provide medical care, shelter, and the chance for a better life. We are deeply grateful to everyone who comes out to support this cause,” she said.
Funds raised through the event provide veterinary care, adoption assistance, and aid for community cats across the region.
