The public is invited to a welcome ceremony tonight for new Westwood Chief of Police Jeffrey Silva.  Westwood Board of Selectmen will host the welcome ceremony for Chief Silva at the new Westwood Public Library (660 High Street) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.   "Since he previously worked in New Bedford, he is not a familiar person in the community, so this meet and greet is a way we have introduced new department heads to the community when they first start out," said Town Administrator Mike Jaillet.
