• Bridgewater-Raynham takes down Westwood in nonleague matchup (bostonherald.com) — Westwood High’s girls basketball team dropped its season opener 44–33 on the road at Bridgewater-Raynham, spoiling the debut of new Wolverines head coach AK Joyce. Westwood started hot from three but was held to just 16 points over the final three quarters as B-R’s defense adjusted and balanced scoring carried the Trojans to a nonleague win.
