'Selflessness Knows No Bounds': Mother's Day Photos

WESTWOOD, MA—Whether it's through his or her personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, a daughter or son becomes a reflection of the woman who raised that child. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Massachusetts to share their "mother-daughter" or "mother-son" lookalike photos.

Dedham resident Jessica Fahey shared this gorgeous photo of her with her mother Joyce Jacobs, of Westwood. The photos were taken in Newport, the North End, Plymouth and Foxboro Stadium.

My mother is the single, most magnificent woman I’ve ever met. Her selflessness knows no bounds and if I grow up to be half the woman she is, I know I will have succeeded in this life.
