Senior Living Community Bridges® by EPOCH at Westwood Celebrates 10th Anniversary

WESTWOOD, MA – October 2025 – Bridges® by EPOCH at Westwood held a special event to celebrate the memory care community’s 10th anniversary.

Residents, families, professionals, and team members gathered September 24 to commemorate a decade of memory care services to the community.

“Today we not only celebrate 10 successful years of resident care and engagement, but also look forward to continuing our legacy of exceptional senior care. We are privileged to have cared for every resident who has called Bridges Westwood home, and are excited to get to know each new resident and their families,’ said Taylor Burns, Senior Advisor at Bridges® by EPOCH at Westwood.

As part of the festivities, guests enjoyed an array of passed appetizers, using fresh local ingredients. Resident favorites were the lobster bisque shooters and the basil-wrapped scallops with pesto risotto made by the dining team. Pianist Scott Grossman performed classical favorites. Nash, a service dog in training, was a big hit among the residents.

Joan Grady, 89, who has lived at Westwood since 2016, the longest of all its residents, had the honor of blowing out the candles on the 10th anniversary cake. Joan was a dietitian in a nursing home for 20 years before she retired. She has two daughters and three grandchildren.
