Westwood UNITED Lacrosse Food Drive

Westwood Boy & Girls, Youth & HS Players Team up to Hold Food Drive for Westwood Food Pantry

We are excited to announce that all four Westwood lacrosse programs are teaming up to hold a Westwood UNITED Lacrosse food drive for the Westwood Food Pantry. Players from both the boys and girls Westwood High School Teams as well as both the girls and boys youth lacrosse programs will be collecting donations for the Westwood Food Pantry. This is a great opportunity for all our youth players to volunteer alongside our high school players.

Players will be reaching out to neighbors, friends and family for donations. Keep an eye out for flyers, emails or social media posts from players in your neighborhood for details. Players will be collecting donations leading up to the final collection day to be held on May 22.

Donations can also be made via an Amazon wish list at https://tinyurl.com/Westwood-Lax-Food-Drive. The wish list includes all of the items from the Food Pantry’s priority list. Items will be shipped to a volunteer’s home and brought up to Flahive by our players on 5/22.

On Sunday, May 22 from 9:45am-5pm, there will be a final collection day held at Flahive Field. Donors will have one last opportunity to drop donations off to Flahive during that time. Players from all 4 programs will volunteer together throughout the day to accept donations, organize all collected items, and prepare them for delivery to the Food Pantry.
