One Injured After Car Slams Into D'Ann's In Abington
Police say the driver is expected to be okay and the restaurant hopes to make temporary repairs to open for the busy holiday week.

ABINGTON, MA — A car slammed into one of Abington's staple restaurants Monday morning.
Police say the driver crashed into D'Ann's on Route 123 around 10:20 a.m. and was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The restaurant now riddled with massive damage says they are doing their best to plan for a delayed opening Monday night.

Manager Eddie King says the damage is extensive, but the restaurant is staying optimistic about the clean-up. "We're just happy the driver is going to be okay and that no one else got seriously hurt."
A building inspector responded to the site while the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The restaurant will be open for take-out tonight starting Monday at 4 p.m. with plans to be open at least for take-out for the rest of the week - minus the Thanksgiving holiday.
