On Tuesday afternoon the flags at Town Hall, Weymouth High School and many residences lowered the flags. Governor Deval L. Patrick has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag be lowered until further notice.

The American and Massachusetts flags have been lowered to half staff to honor those injured and killed at the Boston Marathon.
