Randolph Police Search For Wendy's Shooter

Police are looking for a suspect who they say took off after shooting a 20-year-old man outside a Wendy's restaurant in Randolph.

RANDOLPH, MA — A 20-year-old man was shot outside a Wendy's restaurant in Randolph Wednesday afternoon.

Police responded to reports of shots fired just after noon at Wendy's on Condlin Drive.

The victim - only identified as a 20-year-old man, was rushed to the hospital, but Randolph police say he is expected to survive.

Police say the suspect took off on foot, prompting a heavy search from authorities who have yet to catch them.

"Police are actively searching for the suspect, who fled on foot," John Guilfoil said in a press release.

A preliminary investigation has Randolph police suggesting this is an isolated incident and that there is currently no threat to the public.
