Voters to decide on 56 Articles at Town Meeting Saturday, May 2.

When Town Meeting convenes on Saturday, May 2, voters will be discussing and voting on 56 articles, including articles pertaining to the town’s purchase of Ristuccia Arena, as well as the 9 Cross Street Recreational Facility.
Town Meeting convenes at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 2 in the high school auditorium.

- Seeking the purchase of a liquid de-icer truck for the town’s Department of Public Works.
- An article asking Town Meeting to repeal the vote by Special Town Meeting and not authorize the Board of Selectmen to borrow money to acquire the Elinor M. Ristuccia Memorial Arena.
- Updating clocks and intercom system at the Wilmington Middle School.
- Reconstruction of the parking lot for the Shawsheen Middle School.
- Transferring the Whitefield School site from the School Committee to the Board of Selectmen to demolish the building.
- Selling the Butters Farm property.
- Permanently and officially naming the Yentile Farm Recreational Facility.
